Who This Is For
Next Stage Living™ was designed for real families facing real questions. You do not need to be in a crisis to benefit from thoughtful planning. In fact, the earlier you start, the more options you have.
Older Adults Who Value Independence
You have lived in your home for years and want to keep it that way. You are active, capable, and forward-thinking — and you want to make sure your home continues to support the life you love.
Adult Children Helping Parents Plan
You have noticed small changes — a hesitation on the stairs, a grab bar that is missing, a bathroom that feels risky. You want to help, but you are not sure where to start or how to bring it up.
Families Navigating Mobility or Safety Concerns
Maybe there has already been a fall, a surgery, or a diagnosis. You need practical answers about whether home modifications can help — or whether it is time to explore other options.
Anyone Wondering If Their Home Still Fits
Your home served you beautifully for decades. But life changes. Bodies change. The question is not whether your home is good — it is whether it still works for who you are becoming.
You do not have to be in a crisis to plan wisely. The best time to evaluate your home is before you need to.
The Next Stage Living™ Approach
We look at homes through both a clinical and practical lens — something most home assessments simply cannot offer. As a licensed Physical Therapist and Seniors Real Estate Specialist, Adam Snyder brings a rare combination of medical insight and housing expertise to every evaluation.
1
Entry Safety
Evaluating thresholds, steps, railings, and pathways from the car to the front door — where many falls begin.
2
Stair Navigation
Assessing stairway width, railing stability, lighting, and whether multi-level living remains safe.
3
Bathroom Usability
Reviewing tub and shower access, grab bar placement, toilet height, and slip-resistant surfaces.
Considering how the home will perform as needs evolve over the next 5, 10, or 15 years.
6
Transition Planning
Exploring modification options, alternative housing, or phased approaches to change — when the time is right.
This is not about selling your home. It is about clarity — understanding what your home can offer and what it cannot, so you can make decisions with confidence.

You do not have to decide anything today. You do not have to commit to a service, make a change, or even know what questions to ask.
You just need clarity.
A brief conversation with Adam can help you understand where you stand, what your options are, and whether a HomeGuide™ evaluation makes sense for your situation. There is no pressure, no obligation, and no sales pitch — just an honest, professional perspective from someone who genuinely cares about helping older adults and families make informed decisions.

The HomeFunction Score™ provides an objective snapshot of how well the home supports safe daily movement. It evaluates the home environment — not the person.
If during the evaluation it becomes clear that medical therapy services may be appropriate — such as balance training, fall recovery, or mobility rehabilitation — those services are provided separately through Next Stage Therapy.
Next Stage Therapy is a licensed physical therapy practice that provides skilled, medically necessary therapy services under applicable guidelines, including Medicare when criteria are met.
In certain situations, if a home safety evaluation is medically necessary and ordered as part of a therapy plan of care, Next Stage Living has the ability to bill Medicare through its licensed therapy services.
